Workshop on Basic Electronics – SRM University

Warm greetings from our institutions. The IIT Bombay has taken an important initiative to work
with Engineering Colleges in the country to enhance the teaching skills of our faculty colleagues
in core Engineering and Science Subjects. This initiative has now become a part of the National
Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) supported by MHRD, India.
On this initiative, the IIT Bombay has decided to conduct 2-week workshop on Basic Electronics
from 28th June - 8th July, 2011 at various remote centers to enhance the teaching skills of our
faculty colleagues in core Engineering and Science Subjects. SRM University is one of the remote
centre, we expect your support and participation. We take the pleasure of inviting you and all your
teachers to participate in this workshop, which spans from June 28, 2011 to July 8, 2011 and all
the events being held in our university premises. This workshop will be conducted for teachers
across the country, through distance mode using the AVIEW technology through INTERNET.
The participants will attend LIVE LECTURE given by IIT Professors from IIT Bombay. The
workshop includes theory and practical sessions. This workshop will benefit faculty colleagues
who are teaching Basic Electronics in their colleges.
